User Data

iMe doesn't have access to any users’ data including names, phone numbers, conversations and doesn't store and transmit it anywhere. Because:

  • Firstly, it violates the terms of Telegram’s open-source code use;

  • Secondly, this data is stored on Telegram’s servers and we don’t have direct access to it;

  • Thirdly, it's economically unprofitable to duplicate Telegram servers, to take on this very expensive burden to store billions of user data, heavy media files and other information;

  • iMe is the project with ambitious goals, with already large background, a large amount of spent efforts and resources, so our reputation is on the first place.
